(简称“华电电科院”)
诞生于1956年10月,是中国华电集团有限公司(简称中国华电)直属的唯一科研机构,曾隶属电力工业部、水利电力部、能源部。主要开展能源电力行业重大共性关键核心技术攻关,先进能源发电技术研发及成果孵化转化应用。构建技术监督、科技创新、技术服务“三位一体”发展布局,全面履行中国华电赋予的技术监督、技术服务、技术支撑和集团公司中央研究院职责。
六十多年来,华电电科院持续强化科技创新使命担当,承担国家重大科技攻关项目70余项,相继攻克了重型燃机、新能源等领域的关键核心技术,获得国家级科研成果奖10余项,省部(行业)级科研成果奖280余项;发布国际标准7项,编写国家及行业标准130余项;拥有国内外授权专利2900余项;出版专著45部,为能源电力科技进步作出了重要贡献。
拥有国家分布式能源等5个国家级研发中心,设有新能源、水电、智能能源等10个集团级技术中心;设有院士工作站、博士后工作站。是中国电促会燃机发电专委会会长单位,中国能源研究会低碳智慧供热技术专委会、能源行业燃气分布式标委会的秘书处单位。主办了中国科学引文数据库(CSCD)核心库期刊《发电技术》。拥有工程咨询、调试、工程设计、电力施工总承包、信息系统建设等20余项资质。
拥有较强的科技人才队伍,硕士及以上占比75%;拥有一批业内著名的高层次科技专家,国家级人才3人,省级人才5人,集团科技创新(青年)领军人才38人,地方高层次人才251人,院首席科学家1人、首席专家2人。

Huadian
Electric Power Research Institute CO., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as CHDER),
founded in October 1956, is the only scientific research institution directly
under China Huadian Corporation (hereinafter referred to as CHD). It was
formerly affiliated with the Ministry of Power Industry, the Ministry of Water
Resources and Electric Power, and the Ministry of Energy. CHDER mainly focuses
on tackling major common key technologies in the energy and power industry,
researching advanced energy power generation technologies, and incubating,
transforming, and applying research achievements. It establishes a
"trinity" development layout of technical supervision, scientific and
technological innovation, and technical services, and fully fulfills the
responsibilities of technical supervision, technical services and central
research institute assigned by CHD.
Over
the past six decades, CHDER has continuously strengthened its mission of
scientific and technological innovation, undertaking more than 70 major
national scientific and technological research projects, and successively
overcoming key technologies in fields such as heavy-duty gas turbines and new
energy. It has won more than 10 national scientific research achievement
awards, and over 280 provincial (industry) scientific research achievement
awards. It has published 7 international standards and drafted over 130
national and industry standards. With over 2,900 authorized patents at home and
abroad, and 45 published monographs, HDPRI has made significant contributions
to the progress of energy and power technology.
CHDER
boasts 5 national R&D centers, including the National Distributed Energy
R&D Center, and 10 group-level technology centers focusing on new energy,
hydropower, smart energy, etc. It also has an academician workstation and a
postdoctoral workstation. It is the chairman unit of the Gas Turbine Power
Generation Professional Committee of the China Electricity Council, and the
secretariat unit of the Low-carbon Smart Heating Technology Professional
Committee of the China Energy Research Society and the Gas Distributed Energy
Standardization Technical Committee of the energy industry. It sponsors the
journal "Power Generation Technology," which is included in the Core
Collection of the Chinese Science Citation Database (CSCD). CHDER holds more
than 20 qualifications, including engineering consultation, commissioning,
engineering design, general contracting of power construction, and information
system construction.
CHDER
has a strong team of scientific and technological talents, with 75% holding
master's degrees or higher. It has a group of high-level scientific and
technological experts renowned in the industry, including 3 national-level
talents, 5 provincial-level talents, 38 leading (young) scientific and
technological innovation talents of the group, 251 local high-level talents, 1
chief scientist, and 2 chief experts.
Looking
ahead, CHDER will continue to adhere to the principle of "building the
institute through technology, establishing the institute through services,
revitalizing the institute through talents, and strengthening the institute
through innovation." It will practice CHD's corporate culture of
"innovating and striving, forging ahead," adhere to its development
orientation as a "high-tech service-oriented enterprise," and embrace
the service concept of "value creation." It will comprehensively
enhance its capabilities in scientific and technological innovation and
technical support, strive to build a world-class energy technology innovation
platform with Chinese characteristics, and create a world-class technical
supervision system, a world-class R&D center, and a world-class achievement
incubation base with CHD characteristics.
